My mom has pancreatic cancer, and at her CT scan last week it showed a small portion has spread to her liver. Does that mean that it's stage 4? Everything I've looked at says that if it spreads to your liver, no matter how large or small the amount is, that it's stage 4. She's going to do 3 weeks of IV chemo, take a week off, then another 3 weeks, then see where she is.

Hi.... My sister was dignosed on 7/20... There are now "masses" in her liver, but the PET scan did not show them... CT's showed them.. My sister is very excited about this news, but I know the truth... Pancreatic Cancer does not vanish. The Dr. will not do a biopsy, but has increased the chemo to a stronger dose. My question is ....
