Why Do People With Borderline Personality Disorder Ignore?

What I mean by this question is why do people with borderline personality disorder ignore the person whom they have decided to "hate" on and paint black? Why do they ignore their loved one with whom they have had a falling out with when the loved one try's so hard to talk to the BPD person to get things solved. I've done my research about the disorder so no need to describe what BPD is like, I just want to see if anyone with this disorder can answer my question on why they ignore the person. ...

What Is Universal Mind?

More importantly, what is the relationship of mind to Universal Mind (if it exists)? Is the ego-mind implanted to echo the qualities (quality?) of UM? Do we misuse it, hijacking it to our selfish purposes when it is intended perhaps to allow us to navigate to higher purpose and recognition? Is a mind-set an inability to tap into UM? Is UM the same as Higher Consciousness? Have you noticed that UM is similar to AUM? Ummmmmmmmm...is this a coincidence? Please don't misunderstand; i intende...

Does Clark Kent Have Adult ADD?

i see a day in the life of clark kent, aka kal el, aka superman: clark is working on an article about city council & their plans to...blah blah blah... when in the distance, he hears gunshots go off! glancing around, to make sure no one is looking in his general direction, he makes to the supply closet (that conveniently has a window in it!), while opening his shirt to reveal the copyrighted logo... back 5-10 minutes later from saving the world, clark once again is writing. "councilwoman..."bl...

Beyond A Daydream?

For about two years now, I have been experiencing severe....daydreaming. Well...sort of. You see, I could be talking with friends about something I am interested in, and all of a sudden I 'space off', or so they say. To me, I am having a daydream, and it happens so suddenly, that one minute I could be actively listening, and engaged in conversation, and the next I'm driving to Canada with my great aunt while eating ramen noodles on the roof...or something. But I dont realize I'm doing it, a...

Depersonalization Disorder?

I have been doing a little research and I was shocked to find out that none of my counselors (I usually don't go for long, so I've had many) have ever brought this up, for I am thoroughly convinced this disorder is at the root of my 'issues' (which also include MDD & Social Phobia). Does anyone have any personal experience with this? Anything that helps? I'm on Effexor, but dropped my last therapist a few months ago... don't really have a desire for another one right now. (PLEASE, no Wikip...
