avoid smoking
avoid beef and beef base foods
avoid heavy milk like chesse, cream chesse, cottage chesse sour creamand butter milk
avoid water vegs this is like lettuce raw celery raw cumbers
avoid hard vegs they all should be steamed or cooked
avoid lunch meat, sauge,beacon, ham hotdogs
avoiid spicy foods
avoid hard fruits
write down what you eat if it you get a flare you will know what to avoid the next time

I was recently diagnosed as having Colitis, the symptoms came on suddenly about 5 months ago and ive been quite badly ill ever since, experiencing severe diarreah, weight loss and tiredness. I've tried pentasa tablets, but they didnt have much of an effect. Im currently trying foam enemas (which im having abit of a problem keep ing in!!!) and ive been put on steroids, six week treatment which so far (2 weeks in) also hasnt had much of an effect.
What id like to know is other people experience...
i am writing a paper on bulimia for school and i wanted to know what one does when their bulimic. i know it has to do with throwing up after meals, but i need more details such as, do they do it every meal? every day? please gimme some info.

My doctor wants me to get a colonoscopy to find out where I might be bleeding from. She seems to think that it is higher up in my colon. Needless to say I am a little scared to get it done.
Have any of you had this done?
Do they knock you out?

I have been taking Imuran for about 4 weeks now, and I feel bloated, nauseated and very very tired all the time. I take it ofr RA and Dermatomyositis. Anyone have these side effects or others?
I take 150mg per day.
I am calling my Doc tomorrow.
