ok i am 26 weeks pregnant and i have a hiatal hernia and i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on it. since i was 10 weeks preg i havent been able to keep anything down, and i mean nothing no soup, crackers, any kind of food what so ever. and my doc put me on meds to help me keep food down it worked for 2 weeks and now all the sudden just stopped working i am callin my doc tomorrow but i was just wondering if anyone had any advice

I have been told I have acid reflux, although I do not usually feel heartburn. I usually have to clear my throat frequently after meals and my throat looks like a washboard effect, indicative of acid reflux. My boyfriend is also having severe symptoms and will go to the doctor tomorrow.
My question is, when I try to find out about it, the websites advertise how to cure it with 2 grocery store items but you have to "Buy" the report. Has anyone bought it and do these actually work?

For a number of months now I have had several severe rounds of heart burn with vomiting. No gastroenterologist are willing to see me because I had a vertical banded gastroplasty done back in 2000. My doc says i have a small one, he saw it in the endoscopy. I have pains in the mid section of my upper body. he told me to take acid reducing meds, i do but i still get the pains if i eat something heavy and spicy. is this a life threatning problem??
